I actually created Kymmie's portrait some time ago but I do remember she wanted her art to represent some of her favorite imagery. "Whimsical" and "fanciful" were the two words I remember her using in her description. She basically wanted me to create a more ethereal version of the board game Candyland. 

A very fun project to say the least.  Thanks much for thinking WAY outside of the box Kymmie. In this day and age we need to be whisked away to happier landscapes every once in a while.
